Understanding  FOB and CIF 

FOB (free on board). All responsibility by the seller for goods transportation and insurances etc all risk manage by seller not for buyers.. In FOB incoterm applied only for manufacturing factor to port 

Goods are stuffed in containers  once container all formalities clear and customs all examination.container handover to shipping line. The seller's responsibility and risk management will be finished in fob term.
